Border Collie and Bixley

Hello everyone and Happy 4th of July. Some of us animal lovers are not so fond of this holiday. The noise of the fireworks can scare the dickens out of our pets. One year, I had to sit in the barn half the night with the sheep. Honestly, it sounds like a war zone around here!

On a lighter note, here is my neighbor dog Bixley who thinks this Woolpet border collie is a real dog who wants to play. Bixley has a very mischievous look on his face; I'd better take that Woolpet home before he gets eaten!

What a great name for a dog. The pics are great. I too, am not fond of this holiday. Between the risk of fire from idiots with fireworks and the noise that scares my critters to death, it is one I could do without. We run the air conditioner all night to keep the animals at peace. C;
