Tank Farm
Sung to the tune of Jimmy Buffet's "Margaritaville"
'Wasted away again in Haybale-ville,
Searching for my last acre of grass.
Some people say that I've gained a lot of weight,
but I know,
I'm a fat baa-baa'

I've been invited to demonstrate at this years' Spring International Quilt Show in Portland, OR. Brewer Quilting and Sewing Supply has a booth at the show and they are going to be selling my kits! I will be demonstrating on Sunday from noon to 1:30.
I'm really looking forward to the show. I'm also excited about exploring Portland. I've read that there is a Fiber Arts District with tons of cool shops. Sounds like my idea of heaven! If anyone out there knows of any places I should not miss during my short visit, give a shout out and leave a comment for me.
Here's a happy sheep from that postcard book I mentioned earlier, Sheep Island.
She looks just like my Hazel! Happy Weekend!
My class at the Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA. May 3rd. I gave a mini workshop to some people who had purchased kits and wanted to get started on them while they were at the fair.
Everyone was delighted with their projects and they had plenty of wool left over to take home and make more.
Thanks to all the Maker folks who put the Faire together and invited me to come and demonstrate the Woolpets kits. I had lots of fun and met tons of great people.
Hi everyone! I just started a new group on Flickr called Woolpets Needle Felting Kits . It's for all of you out there who are working on the needle felting kits by Woolpets. I'd love to see photos at any and all stages of the process! If you are going to have a needle felting party-take a bunch of photos. It's so much fun to see the different personalities emerge from the little animals you create. Please try not to be too self-critical. This is definitely not a group to have your work criticized. My goal is to encourage people to try needle felting and not be afraid! So start sharing your photos and lets have some fun!
Here's a photo that someone sent of their penguin. Very cute!
I just listed four new sculptures for sale in my Etsy shop . Kevin took some wonderful photographs of them.
The sun is really shining here in the Pacific Northwest and I think it's getting all of our creative juices flowing!
Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful mama's out there!
I just received a catalog in the mail from The Woolery and I wanted to share the site featuring the Woolpets kits. Make sure to call and ask them for a catalog. Their service is spectacular.
I really enjoy getting paper catalogs in the mail, even though most of my shopping is done online. The Woolery produces a great little catalog with all kinds of fiber arts related supplies, books, etc.
Some of my other favorite 'paper' catalogs are from Magic Cabin and Nova Natural .
