This family of polar bears has come all the way from the icy arctic to tell you about Polar Bears International; an organization dedicated to the conservation of polar bears through research, education and stewardship. At PBI, you can learn about how to keep the earth a healthy place for polar bears and other arctic animals.
Sharing stories and art about polar bears can bring awareness to people of these amazing animals and encourage respect and care for them. Jan Brett has written and illustrated a beautiful children's picture book called "The Three Snow Bears" where polar bears are the main characters and Goldilocks is an Inuit girl named Allo-ki. Jan's website is a treasure trove of art and craft activities based on the over 37 books she has written and illustrated. Learn about Jan's adventures with polar bears and how to draw a baby polar bear here.

Know wonder I post more than you do! Your posts are wonderful and educational as well! Great job Laurie!Love those polar bears!

Oh, this is fun. A) the only really good needle felting I ever did was a polar bear.
B) I am feeling poorly today and could use a diverting bit of fun - the Brett thing sounds pretty darned okey-dokey to me.
So thanks, cute girl!
